Independent Living

Katelyn McDaniel is our new Activity Director for our Independent Living  Residents.  She has just completed her Bachelors of Science Degree in Gerontology.  She has a wonderful smile and a lot of energy.  She enjoys being with her family most of all.  In Katelyn's words, "I love the older generation, listening to all of their stories, hearing about their lives and sharing with them about  all the changes that have occurred over the years."  Katelyn's parents have a lake house at Lake Texoma and she loves spending a lot of her summer days at the lake.  Katelyn has a Yorkie named Mackie.  She is very involved in the Brain Injury Association of Oklahoma and volunteers at the annual camp every April.  We are truly blessed to have Katelyn McDaniel as our activity director for Independent Living here at Saint Ann Retirement Center.

Saint Ann Independent Living community consists of 120 apartments featuring six unique floor plans ranging from a studio to a 2-bedroom deluxe.  All apartments are unfurnished, ready to receive your cherished personal belongings to make Saint Ann your "home."   The kitchens are equipped with microwave, refrigerator/freezer, sink, and a 2-burner cooktop.

Saint Ann is a month-to-month rental which includes 3-meals, 6 days a week and 2 meals on Sundays and Holidays.  All your bills are included, except for telephone.  Weekly housekeeping and linen service is provided at no extra charge.  Enhanced Cable TV is also included in your monthly rent.  Transportation is provided for doctors appointments on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Walmart trips and errand days also provide access to area businesses. 

Saint Ann is located in a beautiful area in northwest Oklahoma City.  The community has a country feel with open fields, walking areas and a pond on the property.  We are blessed with a beautiful community of happy residents and staff members.  The atmosphere is very inviting with residents meeting prospective new residents with a smile and many positive comments about living at Saint Ann's. 

We are also blessed with a beautiful chapel for daily Mass and weekly All Faith Services.  Our new "Grand Theater" is a great area for parties, movies, football games, dances and much more.  Check out our game room, work out area, beauty salon and computer area that all provide for your needs as well.
